The actor's strike has 'opened the door' for a new-comer to star in the revival of a classic advertising campaign! The original ads featured three actors whom SAG/AFTRA leadership described as "animals" and thus never allowed to become union members. Still angered after all these years, the three gladly crossed under picket lines to shoot the TV spots. A starring role in the commercials opened up after one member of the trio was critically injured by a largemouth bass. It looks like the advertiser's standards may have to be... relaxed a bit. |
